Art usually avoided that part of her heritage, wanting to be normal as possible. That all changed when her family was attacked by vampires. Apparently, vampires like the smell of witch blood. Her mother and father were killed. Artemys thought she was dead, until she woke up undead.
Now, she fully gave in to her witch side. Though she doesn't have awesome powers like those chicks on those movies, she has an extra-sensory perception. She can sense what might come to pass, and the truth of people. All the while being a total kick*ss vamp.
