While it may seem rather normal during the day, the city of Stonelake becomes are a very different place at night. Unknown to most of the the human residents, the city is inhabited by creatures thought to be mythical. Vampires, werewolves, and other unusual beings roam the streets in the night. While most try to live as normally as they can, trying to remain undetected, there are those who are extremely dangerous-to humans and others. But there are also slayers within the city, who will do anything to destroy the 'mythics', as they call them, even those who mean no harm to humans.
There is also unrest between the mythics themselves. They stand divided, among covens of vampires, werewolf packs, and nests of both, struggling for power and control of the city streets. Humans may be unwittingly caught in the crossfire, as prey, or new members for the groups. During the day, the humans control the city. But as soon as the sun drops below the horizons, the mythics take control, no matter how much the Slayers work to stop them.
There is danger around every corner for all the residents of Stonelake, be they mortal, slayer, or mythic. Will you be able to survive? Or will you meet your doom? Find out in the City of Night.
