Athrun grew up in this town, he knew the land very well and the people too. He had high respect for those who had a title, even those in other species. He learned that having friends outside of your own circle was rather helpful at an early age, he still uses tha today. His father had died because he rejected to join the Organization, his mother had hidden herself and him away after his death. His mother, though a lot older, is still with him today. he takes care of her, just as he was younger.
