Luna glanced at Athrun and smiled before gazing into the fire and letting her mind drift.

Once done, Athrun cleaned the dish and sighed as he rubbed his eyes. It was getting late, he told Luna she should go to bed, thinking he should also.

"I don't want to be alone." she said quietly as she kept her gaze on the fire.

[DeliaGem]

"Alone as in?" he asked her, unsure if she meant in her sleep or this moment now.

[8-D]

"When I sleep, the darkness might get me." she said as she looked at him. Her old childhood fear rising from all the stress and emotions she had moving through her. She used to call being alone and abandoned the darkness.

Atrhun looked at her for a moment before closing his eyes. He offered her his hand and said, "Come on, you can sleep with me," he looked at her.

Luna took his hand and stood up looking at the floor as she stood beside him.

Athrun pulled her along up the stairs and into his own room. He turned on the light as it revealed a nice size bed with pieces of furniture here and there. "The light on or off?" he asked her as he let go of her hand and walked into the bathroom.

Luna shrugged and kicked off her shoes before falling onto the bed and closing her eyes. Her exhaustion consuming her, she was out like a rock real soon.

Athrun sighed as he walked back into his room. He covered her up with a blanket as he settled himself on the ground.

Luna wrapped herself up in the blanket as she fell into a deep sleep.

Athrun fell asleep on the floor, going into a deep sleep.

[8-D]

Luna was dreaming of her parents and the times when they were a real family. She shuddered and curled up into a ball as she continued to sleep.

Athrun pulled the blanket over him as he groaned. He really needed to rest.

Luna slept soundly for the rest of the night.

Athrun woke up early and sighed. He dressed himself and gathered the blankets and pillows. He threw them into the laundry shoot and walked downstairs. He began to make breakfast for everyone.

Luna woke up a little after him stretching she sat up and looked out the window. Opening it up she climbed out and onto the roof closing the window behind her. She jumped down and shifted before landing carefully on the ground. She sniffed the air and gave a wolfish smile when she smelled Athrun cooking. Shaking out her fur she ran through the early morning fog towards her home.

Athrun watched her run off as he continued to cook. He set the table and prepared the food, just as the others were beginning to come down the stairs to eat.

Luna walked inside her house and to her room. She stopped when she saw rags covered with blood, taking a deep breath she frowned "Susan and Jason." she muttered before going to take a shower.

As they ate, everyone chatted with each other, however, Athrun chose to stay out of the conversation. He only listened and nodded as they spoke, smiling every once in a while.
